Running for Parkinson's UK

I’m taking part in the 2027 TCS London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK on Saturday 24 April and would really appreciate your support. 

After living and running around the streets of London for 6 years - I am thrilled to finally have a spot in the London Marathon! 

I have chosen to run for Parkinson's UK in honor of my grandfather who lived with Parkinson's disease for many years. Seeing the impact it had on him and my family gave me an early understanding of just how devastating the condition can be. However, despite it all, my grandpa remained kind, patient and incredibly grateful to those who cared for him, including my grandma. 

Anyone who knew my grandpa knew his love for the outdoors. Whether it was hiking, fishing, skiing, or camping - he loved being outside, and getting me and his other 9 grandchildren playing outside as well. Running for me is a constant way to be able to enjoy the outdoors, even living in a big city. So I am incredibly happy to be running this marathon for him, for all those who live with Parkinson's and those who are supporting someone who has the disease.  

I will be hosting various fundraisers over the next few months to reach my goal - so do stay tuned and know that any and every little bit helps.
