The Mapp Family Fundraising for Parkinson's UK
In April 2027 I will be running the Manchester Marathon to raise money for Parkinson's UK. My mum Kerry was diagnosed with Parkinson's 2 years ago - so when my brother Chris signed up for the marathon, followed by my dad Ian, I bit the bullet, taking the great opportunity for us all to take on the challenge together as a family and raise money for a very worthwhile cause.
We're aiming to raise as much as we can to support Parkinson's UK's important research, so they can continue to support people like my mum.
I've got a long way to go before I can run the full distance, but the personal cause behind it makes the training a lot easier!
