Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK


After 12 years of failed entries to the London Marathon Ballot, I have decided to run for a charity. 

I have been lucky enough to gain a place with Parkinson’s UK. Although my dad was not diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, he suffered for many years from Parkinsonism and for that reason, this charity means a lot. 

I will be running the full 26.2 miles in memory of the most loving dad I could have wished for and hope that you will support me in raising money.

Silent Disco Fundraising evening

The marathon training is underway, but it’s not just about the running - I need to raise as much as possible for Parkinson’s UK too.

So, our 1st fundraiser is a Silent Disco at the cricket club!

First run since finding out I’ll be running the 2027 TCS London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK!

It’s going to be a long road (literally 😂, but I’m determined to give it everything and hopefully raise as much money as possible for such an important cause.
