Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

On April 27th, I’ll be running the London Marathon to raise money for Parkinson’s – a cause that means a lot to me.

My dad, Andrew, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2021. Since then, I’ve seen firsthand how much of a difference the right care and medication can make to his quality of life. It’s made me want to do something to support the research and treatment that helps people like him every day.

Any donation, no matter how small—even just £1—would mean a lot. Every bit of support will help fund vital research and improve care for those living with Parkinson’s

 Hit 20 Miles, Now Tapering for the Marathon

Hey everyone! I knocked out my longest training run—20 miles—last weekend. It was a slog, but I made it, thanks to your support and my goal to help Parkinson’s research. Now I’m tapering, dialing back the runs to rest up for the marathon.

That 20-miler was no joke, but it’s all worth it knowing it’s for people dealing with Parkinson’s. Big thanks to everyone who’s donated—you’re awesome. If you haven’t yet, no pressure, but every bit helps.

Race day’s coming up fast, and I’m pumped to crush it. I’ll let you know how it goes .
