I’m a 65 year old autistic person with Parkinson's disease who completed the 2025 JJ Bell Great North Run on 7th September. I did this with my brilliant support runner and personal trainer, Rebecca Gospodarczyk, using nordic walking poles to complete the 13.1 miles half-marathon course to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
I would like to thank everyone who has already made a donation to this worthy cause and provide an opportunity for anyone else to help by sponsoring whatever they can.
Any money that is raised will go towards funding the amazing work of Parkinson UK's specialist nurses, who provide-invaluable advice, support and information for people like me as well as our family members and friends who are living with the day-to-day consequences of living with Parkinson's.
