As many of you know, my Dad suffered from Parkinson's for a few years up to his death last year. Latterly, the cognitive symptoms meant that he was living in his own world. Fortunately, without distress. But prior to that, the physical symptoms had a serious impact on quality of life. Dad was lucky to live in York, where the local hospital has excellent provision for Parkinson's. But this is not the case in many other places.
Parkinson's UK provide excellent help and support for those with Parkinson's as well as those who care for them. Any donations you can give are greatly appreciated and will be very well used.
