Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m taking part in Walkies for Parkinson's to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.

Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.

Bestest family in the whole wide world!

Tuesday 21st Oct
Thank you so much for your generous gifts!  We came back to Wroxham from Julia’s the night before last and went for a late night walk in the dark with Darcey.  We only walked about a mile…but it was quite hard going.

Why me?

Monday 6th Oct
You may be wondering why there is a picture of a rather cool looking dog on my fundraising page.  Well this is a Walkies for Parkinsons challenge and so Darcey will be joining me.  Sometimes we will walk together and sometimes she will walk with her owner Julia.

You may think that 30 miles in October is not a particularly big distance to walk.  However I have Parkinsons and so sometimes I can walk a fair distance but at other times my symptoms limit how far I can go.  I will be grateful for your support.

Thank you to my sponsors
