I’m running the Hackney Half Marathon, on Sunday 17 May, for Parkinson’s UK.
I've first seen the devastating effects of Parkinson's on my grandad, Giorgio.
And now, and in the past 15 years, on Peter, my father in law, who was diagnosed when he was 64.
I would really appreciate your support! All money raised will help fund breakthroughs and help support the Parkinson's community.
And yes, I am trying to train (some evidence here: https://www.strava.com/athletes/andrea_nava). I've always been pretty bad at running. I don't love it but it's an easy way of chilling out my anxious and grumpy self. I've never run a half marathon before, so my goal is to finish it (and then, if everything goes well, hopefully in less than 2h10').
