I am running for my Grandad.
I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon alongside my sister Sophie to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, a cause that means so much to our family. Our grandad has lived with Parkinson’s for many years, and we’ve seen both the impact of the condition and the incredible bravery with which he faces it. Despite the challenges, he’s always full of laughter and never without a smile. His positivity continues to inspire us every day. To honour him, Sophie and I are pledging to sing some of his favourite songs as we make our way around the course—though we’ll have to sing extra loudly so he can hear us all the way from Cornwall!
