Running for Parkinson’s UK in Memory of My Grandad
This half marathon is so much more than a race for me.
I’m running in memory of my grandad, who lived with Parkinson’s disease for many years. Watching someone you love face the daily challenges that Parkinson’s brings is incredibly difficult. Despite everything he went through, he showed immense strength, resilience and courage, and his determination continues to inspire me today.
By taking on this half marathon, I hope to honour his memory while raising money for Parkinson’s UK, a charity that provides vital support to those living with Parkinson’s and funds research to help find better treatments and, one day, a cure.
Every mile I run will be for my grandad and for the thousands of families who are navigating the realities of this condition every day.
Any donation, no matter how small, will help make a difference and would mean the world to me.
Thank you for your support. ❤️
