Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
For those who don’t know me my name is Amy, I’m a busy wife and mum of 2 beautiful boys, who keep me on my toes.
Over the last few years I have felt the need to do something for myself and charity but time was always against me. After a change of job which has allowed more free time, I am taking on my first challenge.
As many of you are aware, my dad was diagnoses with Parkinson’s disease in 2015. Being one of the most important people in my life, I feel it’s only right to raise as much money as I can doing my first challenge which is a 25km walk in Minehead.
My aim is to raise £275 for Parkinson’s Uk. This amount of money can go a long way in research as just £37 of this can go towards a digital imaging system, which is used to capture and study images of brain tissue donations.
I’m taking part in the South West 50 Challenge 2025 for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
Please help by sponsoring my challenge. All money raised will help fund the Parkinson's community.
Many thanks 🙏🏼
