My target 50 miles
Fundraising in memory of my mum, who died with Parkinson's in 2022... and for my dad, who continues to support others living with the condition.
I’m taking part in Run 50/50 to fundraise for Parkinson's UK - that means running 50 miles in 50 days, starting March 1st and ending April 19th.
There’s no cure for Parkinson’s. Yet.
We'd be grateful for any donation you can provide, however small, to help provide funding for research to find a cure, and for the day-to-day support of people living with Parkinson's.
I'm uniting with thousands of others to run 50 miles in 50 days with the aim of improving life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
My updates

Longest run ever
Saturday 19th Apr Nice and slow paced. Pops joined me for the last 3.5 miles and that helped me to keep going through the easterly headwind and hills along the A27. Very proud of our achievements x Share
Nearly at the end
Saturday 12th Apr I haven’t been updating regularly as there hasn’t been time for that too. It’s been a real challenge getting this far, fitting in the runs between commuting up to London and Nottingham, plus navigating recovery from the Eurovision ankle injury but my running group has been a real help in getting me up and out. Being able to run on Mums birthday was a real pleasure, I know she would have said “you go girl!” ❤️ Share

Day 1
