Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Parkinson's UK and local Parkinson's groups have a big connect and support for my family, with my wonderful dad, Jon, being diagnosed over 16 years ago. The charity has been a huge support to him and my mum. They always speak so highly of the Parkinson's support from his Parkinson nurse and the charity are raising money to ensure ongoing training and recruitment for these invaluable colleagues and support network. This is one of the reasons I’m taking part in Walkies for Parkinson's to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care and on-going training to make sure no one faces Parkinson’s alone.
Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.
