Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. This year I'm taking part in the Great North Run to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
Parkinson's disease is unfortunately something that came in to our lives back in 2012 when my Amazing mam was unfortunately diagnosed.
Over the years she has been so brave and inspiring battling this cruel disease and trying to live life to the full and still be there for her family. Sadly, her condition has deteriorated significantly in the past 12 months with Mam now having to live in a care home to be supported 24/7 which was the last thing we all wanted.
Seeing her so vulnerable and unable to do the most basic tasks independently made me realise that if she can do this rarely complaining I can maybe just make my way to the finish line to try and raise money!
Please help by sponsoring me whatever you can. All the money raised will go to Parkinson’s UK nurses, to provide much-needed advice, support and information for people who are living with this life changing condition.
