Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Since being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in the last 18 months, I have been coming to terms with the challenges physically and mentally constantly having to adjust my expectations of what I am able to do. People who know me know that I have always pushed myself to give 100%. I now struggle with day to day tasks but refuse to give in and let this beat me.
On 14th September 2025 I am taking part in the Herrington country park walk, to help raise funds for a fantastic and very supportive charity.
