Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m taking on Pedal Trossachs in memory of my Uncle Phil.
Phil was a genuinely kind, funny and caring man who meant a great deal to our family and is deeply missed every day. Watching the impact Parkinson’s can have on someone you love is incredibly difficult, and I wanted to do something meaningful in his honour.
This challenge is also a huge personal milestone for me, as I’ve never cycled a century before. It’s going to push me well out my comfort zone, but that feels fitting for a cause that means so much to me and my family.
Every mile I ride is for Phil, and to help support the incredible work Parkinson’s UK do for people living with Parkinson’s and the families beside them.
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean a huge amount. Thank you so much for your support ❤️
