Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Hello, thank you so much for clicking onto my page. Me and my mum walked the Parkinson’s sponsored walk last year and we want to continue doing so. Parkinson’s is an ongoing disease that not a lot of people understand.Parkinson’s has a whole section in my heart and I will forever rave and rant about it. My granny suffered from Parkinson’s for all of my life memories with her. It didn’t define her but it definitely shaped her as a special lady to me. From a young age I watch my granny change and become less independent until the very last moment. She was like a rock, her independence meant everything to her and she didn’t let Parkinson’s define her, but slowly as she progressed it changed her. Watching someone you love lose their spark is something that is heavy, and that is why I love supporting this charity. Thank you for all the support we appreciate it more than words can ever say. Let’s break down the barriers of Parkinson’s together and make a difference
Nanny would be so proud of you xx
