Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 13 September 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
My Grandad Geoff suffered with Parkinson's Disease for 15 years before his death this July at the age of 85. He was a loving man with a generous heart. He had a love for running himself, having ran both the London Marathon and Great North Run in his life. I'm running the race in his memory and raising money for Parkinson's UK in his name to help support others out there suffering with the disease just as he did.
