My updates
I'm running a Half Marathon at the AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run 2026 for Parkinson's UK.
Friday 13th JunThis is a cause which is incredibly close to my heart. My father-in-law, Graham, is living with Parkinson’s, and we’ve seen how the challenges it brings impacts his everyday life.
Through it all, he remains the same amazing, kind, and selfless man we all know and love. He’s a wonderful father to my wife Rachel, and grandad to our daughters, Eliza and Ava.
Parkinson’s UK does incredible work funding research and supporting families like ours and with your help, we can make a real difference.
If you’re able to donate, even just a few pounds, I'd be extremely grateful for your support and as a token of my appreciation, I’m offering free hugs to everyone who sponsors me! Or, if you prefer something with a little less contact, high fives are also available...
To those who don't know much about Parkinson's:
- Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world, and currently there’s no cure
- More than 153,000 people in the UK are living with Parkinson’s (around 1 in every 350 adults)
- Every hour, 2 more people in the UK are diagnosed with Parkinson’s
- The condition is incredibly complex, with over 40 symptoms ranging from tremors and stiffness to anxiety, memory problems, and chronic fatigue
- Parkinson’s doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed, it affects their entire family, emotionally, physically, and financially
- Parkinson’s UK is entirely funded by donations, which means every penny raised helps fund life-changing support and vital research
With your donations, we can all help this amazing Charity improve someone's life who is struggling with this awful condition.
Thank you so much for your support.
