Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!

On Saturday 24 April 2027, I’ll be running the TCS London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK.

I’m running for Parkinson’s UK because it’s a cause that’s very close to my heart. I grew up with my grandad living with Parkinson’s. It affected his mobility, his speech, and all the everyday things most of us take for granted. But it never stopped him from being the most amazing grandad.

I have so many happy memories of visiting him in Northern Ireland. No matter what he was going through, he always put me first and made sure I had a brilliant childhood. He sadly passed away in 2017, but those memories have stayed with me.

Running for Parkinson’s UK lets me run in his memory, and help fund the research and support that could make a real difference to the millions of people living with Parkinson’s today.

This cause means so much to my whole family, and I’d be incredibly grateful for any support you can give me as I take on this challenge.
