Oxford Half Marathon 2026

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

This October, I’ll be taking on the Oxford Half Marathon for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.

In 2021, my mum was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Since then, I’ve seen first-hand the challenges that Parkinson’s brings—not just for the person living with it, but for the whole family.

Running 13.1 miles will be a huge personal challenge, but it doesn’t compare to the strength and resilience my mum shows every day. I’m running in her honour and to help raise vital funds for Parkinson’s research, better treatments, and support services for everyone affected by this condition.

If you’re able to support me, no matter how big or small the donation, I’d be so grateful. Every pound raised helps bring hope to those living with Parkinson’s and moves us one step closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure.

If you can’t donate, sharing my fundraising page would mean just as much.

Thank you so much for your kindness, encouragement, and support. Every mile I run is for my mum. 💙
