Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April 2025.
I'm running my first half marathon in honour of my uncle, Trevor.
Trevor was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2015, but he hasn't let that stop him from doing the things he loves.
Trevor has lived in Australia for the majority of my life, but he still remains an important figure in my life. At the age of 25, I finally learnt how to ride a bike. Because Trevor took time out of his day to teach me. An avid body builder, Trevor inspires me to be the best version of myself that I can be.
Parkinson's is a degenerative disease which, at current, has no cure.
This half marathon falls on my birthday, and I could think of no better way of spending it, then by honouring someone who inspires me everyday.
