Why am I fundraising for Parkinson's UK?
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 13 September 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
This cause is something that is really important to me, due to my Grandmother being diagnosed with Parkinson’s over a year ago. Seeing the impact of the condition on her daily life has given me a personal understanding of the challenges faced not only by her, but the wider Parkinson’s community. This fundraising is my way of supporting vital research, services and advocacy that can improve care, hope and move us closer to a cure.
