Why we are fundraising for Parkinson's UK
We're taking part in Par for Parkinson's All Day Golf Challenge to support Parkinson's UK.
The money we raise will go towards making every day better, for everybody living with Parkinson’s. Right now.
We were never lucky enough to meet our Grandad Robert who suffered from this terrible disease for 25 years after being diagnosed at the age of 33. However, we have heard many stories about the wonderful person he was and know how very proud he would be of us completing this challenge.
On the 1st of September we will be playing four rounds of golf (72 holes) at our home course, Melton Mowbray Golf Club. We will begin at sunrise and will be walking for the four full rounds finishing as the sun sets.
