Why we are fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Hi Guys, Having been diagnosed with Parkinson's a couple of years ago, I know what it's like trying to get to see a Parkinson's Nurse. As I only get to see my Neurologist on average twice a year, seeing a Parkinson's Nurse in between those visits is vital to review meds and give advice on all things Parky! There aren't nearly enough Nurses to cater for everyone who needs them...Hence, Emily, Lesley and I are happy to take part in this fundraising Walk on 5th September. Please consider sponsoring me/us to raise funds for more Nurses!! All contributions will be gratefully received - however small!
PS. Emily and Lesley are planning on doing the full 6.2 mile walk.... whereas I will probably end up doing the 1.5 mile stint (I might even double that to 3 miles depending on my energy levels) 🧐
