Sara & Harna

Walk for Parkinson's: Birmingham 2025

Why we are fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Hi, we are sisters (if you couldn't tell) Sara (36) & Harna (34).

This year our Mom (56) was diagnosed with Parkinson's, after experiencing months of symptoms she was finally able to have it confirmed by a specialist.

Since that time she has had ups and downs of dealing with how it affects & changes her life.

Fortunately with medication and Parkinson's support groups having a positive impact, she is now having mostly good days.

Before her diagnosis Parkinsons isn't something we knew a lot about, however now it feels personal and we want to help it any way we can.

We love walking & regularly walk together on a Sunday morning so this walk felt like the perfect opportunity to raise awareness and to support the woman that raised us!

Please donate anything you can :)
