Unfortunately incoming Ashley has meant that the Walk is cancelled on Sunday. For everyone who sponsored us, I hope it is okay but the group who planned to walk at the weekend will hopefully meet another day soon to complete our miles. We're taking part in Walk for Parkinson’s.
We all have different reasons for walking. But if we walk together, we can make a difference to the lives of people with Parkinson’s.
For me, I'm hitting a big number this year I'd rather not think about. I also realise I'm very fortunate to be in a position to mark the occasion but not being one for a fuss, I decided to do this instead. This is a cause close to our family as it affected our Dad (Roland) and I would love any of my family and friends who would like, to come and join me. I thought helping make a difference here would be a nice way to mark the moment.
And if the walking's not for you, just come along for the craic as Laura will be singing us off on our way!
