Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Beginning to have second thoughts???

Monday 14th Sep
I can not believe it’s exactly four weeks since I agreed to join my mum on her 80th birthday to take part in this crazy adventure, and exactly four weeks before the jump itself.
Not only have I  been having second thoughts , but also some crazy scary dreams regarding my questionable drunken decision 😔. 

So with that I’ve spent at least a couple of minutes coming up with a few options for you to read and get back to me with your feedback & advice! 

1. Back out now and admit my cowardice ( I am in my prime and peak of fitness ,have so much more to offer this world, just imagine all the hearts I’d break if I were not to survive this ?

2. Employ a body double to take my place ( I asked google which celebrity I looked like from a photo of me, they came up with Kevin Mcloud from grand designs, not even bloody joking 🙁🙁)!

3. Fake my own death on a canoe and take my insurance money ( Although nobody would notice I’d gone 😔)!

4. Grow a pair and man up ! 

Feel free to send answers on a postcard if you don’t have access to the internet!

On a serious note, Thankyou for everyone who has taken the time to look at my fundraising page, and especially those who have been able to donate however great or small, I truly am grateful ❤️ And I understand we all have charities close to our heart , this is mine !

Can I just thank all those who have viewed my page, and special thanks to those who have donated since my last post, I truly am lost for words, I understand times are hard and I promise I won’t back out and let everyone down!
Which is why I’ve been watching a few self help videos to try and overcome my fear of flying and heights, so far I’ve watched:-

• Aeroplane 
•Aeroplane 2
•All the Final Destination films
• All the reruns of Murder She Wrote ( Totally unrelated, I just have the hots for Jessica Fletcher)!
•Vertigo 
•Con Air

Any more recommendations which might help would be truly appreciated! 
I would finally like to thank my brother Steve Cole Howroyd for trying to drum up support for both my mum and myself via his Facebook posts, I can’t believe I haven’t broken a rib or 2 reading them 🙄🙄!

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have taken the time to look at my fundraising page, and special thanks to those who have been so kind and generous to donate, watching thise donations come in has truly been heartwarming, and I can’t thank you enough!

What have I agreed to 😬😬.

Saturday 15th Aug
On October the 14th this year my Mum will turn 80 years young.
For reasons only she knows she decided that she would like to take part in her first tandem parachute jump, and for reasons god only knows ( The few glasses of wine I’d had maybe didn’t help ) I offered to join her.
We will be jumping from 15000 feet at Hibalstow airfield on the morning of her birthday.

This will also be my first time, probably because I get dizzy climbing a step ladder, and the thought of jumping out of an aeroplane at any height makes me question my sanity!

We have chosen Parkinsons.org.uk as it is a charity that would greatly benefit the help in finding a cure and helping those affected by a disease which has taken the lives of my father in 2012, and in only the last few weeks my Mums Sister ( My Aunt ).
And is also a disease being bravely fought by friends around us.

Any donation whatever the size would honestly be massively appreciated by both my mum, myself and of course Parkinsons.org.uk.
