When will this be paid to my supported cause?

This will be allocated into Charities Trust's next pay-out date on 15th October 2026.

How will this be paid?

This will be paid via a BACS transfer and will credit 3-5 working days after showing on their bank statement as a payment from Charities Trust (who manage the processing of applications and payments for this scheme).

How much will this be?

This will be for £200.00 spread across your chosen charities.

I raised my funds online, will this be paid onto my fundraising page?

Unfortunately we are unable to pay funds directly onto fundraising platforms so this will be paid directly to the bank account of your supported cause.

If your page has an offline totaliser function you could however add this in so that the amount is reflected in your overall total.

Well what can I say but what an amazing experience joining my mum on her 80th birthday on a tandem sky dive.
She was so courageous, far cooler than me! 
I’m so grateful fo everyone who has been so kind to donate, it truly has been humbling to see the donations come in, and knowing that they will go to help those affected by such a cruel disease.
For those who haven’t had chance yet, there’s still time😊.

I’d just like to say a massive Thank you to each and every one of you who have been so kind and generous in helping me reach my goal.
With only 2 more sleeps before the jump I can’t believe that between my mum and myself we have raised over £2000 with more donations promised. 
But this has never been about me, Parkinsons is a cruel and wicked disease, I won’t swear as I was told off today by mum for swearing on my online posts 🙁.
My mum by the way will turn 80 on the day of the jump and I’m sure you’d agree, especially those luckily enough to know her that she is the most beautiful positive soul ❤️❤️.

In other more serious matters:-
I’m Bricking it!

Not finished my VHS box set of Murder She Wrote!

With less than two weeks to go until the big day I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have been so kind and generous in supporting me in this crazy adventure 😊.
I can’t believe how close I am to my target goal with a while yet to go.

As for preparations ,I’ve been preparing for the worst! I have found a huge blanket, but have been unable to find 4 friends willing to hold a corner each and stand under the drop zone, it would help if I actually had four friends 🙁.
If the very worst was to happen, I’d like a nice bench , with a nice plaque please located in a nice spot, with a few nice words! Oh and a balloon release would be marvellous 😊.
I have updated my will and I have placed a copy of it in my bedroom cupboard (The one containing my best frocks & lingerie).
Finally, I wish my body to be donated to both Medical science & Messingham Zoo, I’m easy on which half goes to which.

With that, until my next update in the words of Donald Trump, THANK-YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION IN THIS MATTER.

Beginning to have second thoughts???

Monday 14th Sep
I can not believe it’s exactly four weeks since I agreed to join my mum on her 80th birthday to take part in this crazy adventure, and exactly four weeks before the jump itself.
Not only have I  been having second thoughts , but also some crazy scary dreams regarding my questionable drunken decision 😔. 

So with that I’ve spent at least a couple of minutes coming up with a few options for you to read and get back to me with your feedback & advice! 

1. Back out now and admit my cowardice ( I am in my prime and peak of fitness ,have so much more to offer this world, just imagine all the hearts I’d break if I were not to survive this ?

2. Employ a body double to take my place ( I asked google which celebrity I looked like from a photo of me, they came up with Kevin Mcloud from grand designs, not even bloody joking 🙁🙁)!

3. Fake my own death on a canoe and take my insurance money ( Although nobody would notice I’d gone 😔)!

4. Grow a pair and man up ! 

Feel free to send answers on a postcard if you don’t have access to the internet!

On a serious note, Thankyou for everyone who has taken the time to look at my fundraising page, and especially those who have been able to donate however great or small, I truly am grateful ❤️ And I understand we all have charities close to our heart , this is mine !

Can I just thank all those who have viewed my page, and special thanks to those who have donated since my last post, I truly am lost for words, I understand times are hard and I promise I won’t back out and let everyone down!
Which is why I’ve been watching a few self help videos to try and overcome my fear of flying and heights, so far I’ve watched:-

• Aeroplane 
•Aeroplane 2
•All the Final Destination films
• All the reruns of Murder She Wrote ( Totally unrelated, I just have the hots for Jessica Fletcher)!
•Vertigo 
•Con Air

Any more recommendations which might help would be truly appreciated! 
I would finally like to thank my brother Steve Cole Howroyd for trying to drum up support for both my mum and myself via his Facebook posts, I can’t believe I haven’t broken a rib or 2 reading them 🙄🙄!

What have I agreed to 😬😬.

Saturday 15th Aug
On October the 14th this year my Mum will turn 80 years young.
For reasons only she knows she decided that she would like to take part in her first tandem parachute jump, and for reasons god only knows ( The few glasses of wine I’d had maybe didn’t help ) I offered to join her.
We will be jumping from 15000 feet at Hibalstow airfield on the morning of her birthday.

This will also be my first time, probably because I get dizzy climbing a step ladder, and the thought of jumping out of an aeroplane at any height makes me question my sanity!

We have chosen Parkinsons.org.uk as it is a charity that would greatly benefit the help in finding a cure and helping those affected by a disease which has taken the lives of my father in 2012, and in only the last few weeks my Mums Sister ( My Aunt ).
And is also a disease being bravely fought by friends around us.

Any donation whatever the size would honestly be massively appreciated by both my mum, myself and of course Parkinsons.org.uk.
