Why I’m running for Parkinson’s UK
Monday 21st Jul Nearly 10 years ago my step father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, i have witnessed first hand the effects on both the patient and their families but have also seen how effective treating the condition with right medication and treatment can be. A colleague of mine has also recently been diagnosed and it’s having seen the effects the treatment has had on my step father that has shown me that diagnosis doesn’t mean it’s all over.
