Walk for Parkinson's: Bristol 2026

I never thought I’d be walking this walk as a wife, mum and carer… but here we are. 💙

This year, I’ll be taking part in Walk for Parkinson’s alongside my husband Sat.

Most people see the strength.
The gym posts.
The smiles.
The dad moments.
The “I’m okay” face.

But at home, we see the real side of Parkinson’s too.

The pain.
The fatigue.
The flare-ups.
The frustration.
The appointments.
The uncertainty.
The days where even the simple things feel heavy.

As his wife, I see the battles he tries to hide.
As a mum, I try to keep life steady for our girls.
As a carer, I’ve learned that Parkinson’s doesn’t just affect one person — it affects the whole family.

But we’re not walking in sadness.

We’re walking with purpose.
We’re walking for hope.
We’re walking for better support, better research, better understanding — and for every family living with Parkinson’s every single day.

So I’m asking from the heart:

Please donate whatever you can.
£5, £10, £20 — it all adds up and it all makes a difference.

And if you’d like to take part too, come and walk with us. Whether you donate, join us, or simply share this post, you’re helping raise awareness for a condition that needs far more understanding.

For Sat.
For our girls.
For every family affected by Parkinson’s.
For hope. 💙
