Anyone can get Parkinson’s, young or old. Every hour, two more people are diagnosed.
Our grandad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s back in 2022 and since then, we’ve been able to help him as much as we can but unfortunately it is currently an incurable disease. He has always been the life and soul of the party and he definitely still has his moments and is just as witty as normal but we miss having that version of him all of the time.
We’re running this years Great North Run for him, and everyone else that has been affected by this awful disease.
