Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
In 2027, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Parkinson’s UK in memory of my grandad.
Parkinson’s touched our family personally, and seeing the impact it had on someone I loved gave me a much deeper understanding of the challenges that come with the condition. My grandad faced Parkinson’s with strength, and his experience has stayed with me.
Taking part in this half marathon is my way of honouring his memory and turning that into something positive. By raising money for Parkinson’s UK, I hope to support the incredible work they do in funding research, providing support for people living with Parkinson’s, and helping families affected by the condition.
Every mile I run will be for my grandad and for everyone living with Parkinson’s today. Any support, whether through donations, encouragement, or sharing this page, means a great deal and will help make a difference.
Thank you for supporting me and helping keep my grandad’s memory alive.
