Last September, our mum was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. After the initial news sunk in, we wanted to do something positive.
So, on 11 October, we’re taking on 13.1 miles through London’s most beautiful parks. This is Kate's first ever half marathon, while Imy's no stranger to a finish line. Either way, we’ll be crossing this one together (well, about an hour apart, but together in spirit).
Parkinson’s UK fund research into treatments and a cure, and support people living with Parkinson’s and their families with information, advice, and community. It’s a cause that’s become personal to us very quickly, and any support - big or small - means a lot.
