Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Parkinson’s disease is something that has impacted our lives profoundly, in both my family and especially for Fee and her family. Losing her wonderful mum almost 5 years ago after a long, brave battle with this awful thing. During a more than ten year fight, gradually losing control of her body, she maintained her inspirational positivity, kindness and generous humour, something that we all try to emulate, but fail at too regularly! The support that we got from Parkinson’s UK and in particular their nurses was incredible and supporting this work and their research into the disease is the motivation for this. Please support me as I aim to do my best to run as fast and as positively as I can to help this amazing cause. Thank you!
