Why we are fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Cer and I are taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2027 to raise money and awareness for Parkinson’s UK.
Unfortunately, my family and I have been personally affected by Parkinson’s, as my Grandad lived with the struggles of Parkinson’s for over 50 years before sadly losing his battle in June 2026.
My amazing Grandad fought bravely for so many years, and running this half marathon is my way of honouring his memory. I hope to make him proud while raising money for a cause that means so much to me.
I’m so grateful to Cer for joining me - it means so much to have her by my side and to be able to support such an important cause together.
