Legendary Langlands

Pedal Trossachs 2026

Why we are fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Our wonderful Dad, David Langlands, passed away this year. He was a legendary cyclist, known by the biking fraternity across Scotland's Central Belt. He lived with Parkinson's in the very latter years of his life but still managed a final cycle ride.

We're taking part in Pedal Trossachs for Parkinson’s UK and would appreciate your support!

Please help by sponsoring our cycling challenge. All the money raised will go towards ground-breaking research and life-changing support for the Parkinson's community.

Thank you to our sponsors

David was also a terrific dancer. Fond memories of his jive with Gay at our Parkinson’s Support Group meeting. Good luck with your cycle ride. A great tribute to a fine man.

So sorry to hear about David Gay. He was such a great person and loved his cycling. This disease is awful so I imagine at the end it was a blessing gir him to be no longer suffering. My thoughts are with you. Phil has been in care since February 17th and is now immobile so hoisted from here to there. With his added Alzheimer’s he gets very confused but at least he still knows us. Take care and I hope to see you at the group meetings. Joan Dyet
