Why we are fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Greener Littleover is proud to be organising a 5-mile nature walk through our beautiful Littleover and Blagreaves Parks in support of Parkinson’s UK. This is more than just a scenic stroll—it’s a chance for our community (both two-legged and four-pawed!) to come together, enjoy local green spaces, and raise funds for a cause that hits close to home.
Join our team and walk with us on Sunday 5 October at 2pm for our circular walk starting and finishing at King George V Playing Fields, Littleover.
Parkinson’s is a rubbish condition—progressive, life-changing, and still without a cure. Ali, from Greener Littleover, has a relative living with Parkinson’s and knows first-hand the vital role specialist nurses play in supporting individuals and families. By walking together, we aim to raise funds that help keep those services going strong whilst benefiting from the benefits of walking in nature.
Bring your walking boots, bring your dogs, bring your heart. Let’s walk in nature as we walk for compassion, and walk for change.
