Why we are fundraising for Parkinson's UK
We’re walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care for thousands more people who urgently need it.
Thousands of people are coming together to support those living with Parkinson’s, along with the families and loved ones who stand beside them every single day. We’re proud to be part of that movement.
We are Julie, Darren and Andrea, and we’re walking in honour of our much-loved Dad and Husband, who has been living with Parkinson’s for many years. Over time, this cruel condition has taken so much from him, and it’s incredibly difficult to see someone you love go through that.
That’s why we’re taking on this walk — not just for him, but for every family affected by Parkinson’s. We want to help raise awareness, improve support, and be part of the effort to find better treatments and, one day, a cure.
We’re doing this with love, hope, and determination to make a difference.
