Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the TCS 2026 London Marathon on 26 April 26 for Parkinson’s UK Oxford Branch and would really appreciate your support!   I have many friends with Parkinson’s including a number of Army comrades who were diagnosed in their 40’s.  I worked closely with the Oxford Branch thanks to my father-in-law who has been a long time supporter.  I also worked with Gary Shaughnessey the incredible Chaiman of Parkinson’s UK who is an inspiration and also much fitter than me. Supporting Parkinson’s and finding a cure means a lot to me personally.  Thank you for helping!

We’re Parkinson’s UK. The charity that’s here to support every Parkinson’s journey, every step of the way. Wherever you’re from, whatever you need.

We don’t wait for change, we make it happen. We believe that together we’ll find a cure. But that’s not all we’re working for. We campaign for better health and care, fund research into groundbreaking new treatments, and run life-changing support services.

Families, volunteers, campaigners, fundraisers, scientists, health and care workers. We’re a powerful community united by one mission: improving life with Parkinson’s.

Thank you to my sponsors
