Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the TCS 2026 London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!

Parkinson’s uk means a lot to me & my family & friends 

My uncle suffered with Parkinson’s for many years until he passed away in 2024

My dad also suffered with Parkinson’s for many years until passing away in 2011

I also have friends with relatives that have been affected by Parkinson’s & my husband is a senior nurse & has looked after & continues to look after many patients who suffer from this cruel disease.

18 miles

Friday 13th Mar
I have now reached 18 miles in training So in terms of the London marathon I’ve almost made it to Canary Wharf

In new territory

Friday 6th Mar
I have now progressed beyond half marathon distance

Update on my training

Sunday 1st Feb
Following an injury in October & my mum passing away on 12th January 2026 I am now back in training for the London Marathon Slow progress but getting there
