Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’ve decided to run London Marathon to hopefully raise some pennies for Parkinson’s UK. My dad was diagnosed in 1999, when he was just 39 years old. He now lives with an advanced form of Parkinson’s, making him almost completely housebound. He misses birthdays, graduations, weddings, holidays and everything small in between. Sadly, many have a limited knowledge and understanding of this horrible disease. This one’s for him and for anyone else suffering with or caring for someone with Parkinson’s.
