This challenge we thought we would set ourselves back in February, is now just 1 week away! 
Thank you to everyone for their donations, it means so much to us and the Downes’ family that we have been able to raise funds to support this cruel disease. 
Last little push now to get a few more miles into training and hopefully a few more pounds in the pot ! 

5 weeks to go!

The summer holidays have started and our training is ramping up with just 5 weeks to go! The shorter runs are getting more comfortable but the longer ones are still needing us to dig deep! A busy few weeks ahead to make sure we are fit enough on the day!

Three months to go!

In September Becky, Charlotte and Matt will be running  The Great North Run. Our chosen charity is Parkinson’s UK because as many of you know, Becky’s father in law has this awful disease so it is a charity close to the family. 

Then …… because we can’t say no, Becky and Charlotte will also be running the Shrewsbury Half at the end of September!

Why we are fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Your mum, son or friend. Anyone can get Parkinson’s, young or old. Every hour, two more people are diagnosed.

There are over 40 symptoms. Tremor. Pain. Anxiety. Everyone’s experience is different. And there’s no cure. Yet.

That’s why we are fundraising for Parkinson’s UK. With your help we can fund better care, drive research breakthroughs and one day find a cure.
