Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
As you all know my lovely grandad suffered from Parkinson's disease and I want as many people that receive the diagnosis of Parkinson's to live their life as long as they can to the fullest.
Grandad always kept himself fit, he was playing football, running (not just from nan if he had spent to long in the bookies) he had a labour intensive job and kept busy.
To see the change in him to not be mobile and also the dementia that could not be treated due to the Parkinson's drugs was devastating to all of us.
I am aware that this is not a massive challenge for some but to me it is, being the heaviest I've ever been to walk 100 miles in a month will push me.
I'm uniting with thousands of others, all passionate about improving life for people with Parkinson’s.
My updates

Behind track but still going
Sunday 18th May I've done an extra 20 miles but haven't updated. This still puts me way behind track. As you know o said this would be a huge challenge for me, I've been struggling a lot mentally which is why I started this challenge. It was to try and get me motivated to walk which I know proves mental health and meanwhile have the motivation to raise money for a charity close to my heart. Unfortunately it's taken me a bit more to get out of the rut that I am in. But I will do this, it may go into June but I will complete the 100 miles.

Good luck!
