Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I’m Ollie, a Firefighter from Derbyshire. My Dad Nick has recently been diagnosed with Parkinsons.
Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition. This means that it causes problems in the brain and gets worse over time, since his diagnosis, he has always stayed positive, strong.
Every donation you give will help fund pioneering research to find a cure, personalised support services, and campaigns for fair benefits and high quality health and social care.
I’m running The Nottingham Running Festival half marathon to help spread awareness and to help raise funds to contribute to the research Parkinsons UK needs. Nick is an amazing father and Grandfather and this is the least I can do to show my love and appreciation for him. Every donation helps even if you can spare £1.
