Sunday 6th AprOn 27th April I will run the Manchester marathon for Parkinson’s UK in memory of my late father Peter Tabois. Dad was a talented runner in his youth and trained for a marathon in later life but didn’t make the start line due to injury. I hope to complete that journey for him as I attempt to run my first ever marathon!
By the time he passed away in March last year dad had endured Parkinson’s disease for 10 years and as a family we witnessed the frustration, sadness and suffering the gradual worsening symptoms brought him. It was heartbreaking to see him no longer able to do the things he enjoyed so much in life because of this cruel debilitating illness. My aim is to raise £500 for Parkinson’s UK to help fund breakthroughs and help support the Parkinson's community. Thank you for your support!
