Canonteign Falls Abseil

Abseil 220ft down England's highest waterfall to help transform the lives of people with Parkinson's. Abseil for Parkinson's and together, we can find a cure.

Who can take part

  • Participants must be over 15 years old at the time of the abseil.

  • Participants under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
  • Participants must be under the weight of 18 stone and have a waist measurement of 50 inches or less. If anyone above 18 stone wishes to take part, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the possibility.

  • Please be aware that in addition to the abseil, you need to be able to walk a steep 15-minute incline to the top of the waterfall area. 

What you need to know

  • Time slots start from 9AM. 

  • We’ll be in touch to assign a time slot closer to the event date. If you’d prefer a particular time slot, please email fundraising@parkinsons.org.uk or call 0800 138 6593 as soon as possible.

  • Please arrive 1 hour 15 minutes before your allocated time slot.

  • All abseil equipment, including a helmet and harness will be provided.

  • The abseil will be compliant with all coronavirus (COVID-19) guidelines.

How we’ll support you

  • We’ll send you a welcome pack full to the brim with fundraising guidance tips and information.

  • We’ll also send you a Parkinson’s UK T-shirt to wear on the day, and to help promote your fundraising in the run up to the event! 

  • The regional fundraiser organising the abseil will be in touch shortly after you’ve signed up. They'll be on hand for any fundraising support or materials you need.
